Mark W. Libby is a worthy enough candidate to be the US ambassador to Azerbaijan, the Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said as a reponse to question regarding the appointment of the ambassador to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"Mark W. Libby's nomination is currently pending on the Senate floor, waiting for a vote. Mr. Libby’s 30 years of diplomatic experience make him a well-qualified candidate to be the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, and the Department looks forward to his confirmation. We urge the Senate to confirm Mr. Libby and the additional State Department nominees who are pending," said Department of State.
