U.S. congressional delegation visits Alley of Martyrs in Baku

A delegation led by Abraham Hamadeh, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives who is visiting Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs on June 17 and paid tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of the country, laying fresh flowers at their graves, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

The guests then viewed the panorama of Azerbaijan’s capital from the highest point in Baku and were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the beautification and construction works being carried out in the capital.

During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by protocol officers and other officials.
