The Ukrainian House was inaugurated in Baku, APA reports.
According to the report, Olga Huseva, head of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Azerbaijan, spoke at the event. She said that the center will play an important role in providing detailed information about Ukraine to the Azerbaijani audience.
Then the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and Ukraine were played.
The memory of the Ukrainians who died in the Russia-Ukraine war was commemorated with a moment of silence.
It was stated that the main goal of the establishment of the center is to adequately represent the country's culture in Azerbaijan.
At the same time, it was revealed that various courses will be organized at the Ukrainian House.
It was noted that first, an exhibition called "Broken Dreams" was opened in one of the halls of the center.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Khusev congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the National Flag Day.
The event also noted that during the ongoing war in Ukraine, about 50 Azerbaijani compatriots died in battles to restore the country's territorial integrity.
The inauguration ceremony continued with an artistic part.
