I personally thanked President Aliyev for Azerbaijan's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and for humanitarian and energy assistance during the winter, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, who met with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today, APA reports.
"Ilham Aliyev in Baku. We had an open and detailed discussion on the main issues of Ukraine-Azerbaijan bilateral relations and the international agenda. We paid special attention to how to put an end to Russian aggression and establish a just and lasting peace.
We discussed the next steps towards the development of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan strategic partnership. Azerbaijan's participation in the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, which is planned to be held in Rome on July 10-11 this year, will be important in this regard," Andriy Sibiga noted.
