Ukrainian Embassy thanks Azerbaijan

The Ukrainian Embassy thanked Azerbaijan for humanitarian aid, the embassy shared on social media account, APA reports.

"Today - on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day - we remember those who protect and support humanity in the most difficult times.

For Ukraine, this day is of special significance due to the war. Russia's large-scale occupation has caused a humanitarian crisis in the country, but thanks to the help of our friends and partners from all over the world, we are able to fight this crisis.

The humanitarian support of international and public organizations, donor countries, businesses and ordinary people who show solidarity with Ukraine allows us to overcome the upcoming difficulties.

We express our special gratitude to friendly Azerbaijan. We are grateful to Azerbaijan, its leadership and all its people, who have supported Ukraine since the first days of the war. We sincerely thank you, especially for the humanitarian aid in the energy sector, as well as for the rehabilitation and health programs for children affected by the war.

Thank you for your support," the post of the embassy said.
