"We thank Azerbaijan for its continuous support", said Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, Yuri Husyev in a post on the X platform, APA reports.

"Azerbaijan has sent a new humanitarian aid to Ukraine! In accordance with the Order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, humanitarian aid carrying cables and energy equipment funded with by allocated 1 million U.S. dollars has departed to help restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure. We thank Azerbaijan for its continuous support!", the ambassador noted.

Note that today, Azerbaijan has sent another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. For this purpose, based on the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated February 5, 2025, manat equivalent of one million US dollars have been allocated.

The initial humanitarian aid shipment sent under this amount includes electrical cables, wires, and transformers. Based on a request from Ukraine, the mentioned supplies are intended for the restoration of a stable electricity supply in areas affected by the war.

Recall  that, in connection with the current situation, the total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine has exceeded USD 40 million. By 2025, nearly 120 transformers and complete transformer substations, around 70 generators, as well as more than 3.3 million meters of cables and wires have been sent to Ukraine.
