UK minister: Trade relations between Azerbaijan and the UK continue to develop

Trade relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom continue to develop, said the United Kingdom's Investment Minister, Lord Jason Stockwood, who is visiting Azerbaijan, APA reports.

“Last year, we elevated our cooperation to the level of a strategic partnership. Trade and investment are at the heart of this partnership. During my visit, I met with the heads of a number of financial institutions and investors in Azerbaijan. We are working to create new opportunities for Azerbaijani and British businesses. The meeting of the Azerbaijan-UK Intergovernmental Commission to be held later this year is an opportunity to turn these discussions into concrete achievements,” the minister stressed.
