The Government of the United Arab Emirates will provide financial support to humanitarian mine action activities carried out in the Republic of Azerbaijan through its Embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) released information, APA reports.
According to the information, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed for this purpose between the Chairman of the ANAMA Board of Directors Vugar Suleymanov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Azerbaijan Mohammed Al Blushi.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the support provided to mine action activities and the prospects for further development of cooperation in this field.
