Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan: Great Leader Heydar Aliyev taught us to be together in both sad and joyful moments

"The victory of Azerbaijan in the Second Karabakh War is the result of the work done by National Leader Heydar Aliyev on this issue," Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün told journalists, APA reports.

The ambassador noted that the phrase "Two states, one nation" has proven itself and become even more prominent in the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan: "National and the Great Leader, Heydar Aliyev, is the founder of the Azerbaijani state. The victory of Azerbaijan in the Second Karabakh War is the result of the work done by National Leader Heydar Aliyev on this issue. In the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, the phrase 'Two states, one nation' has proven itself and become even more prominent. During the Karabakh War, in both sad and joyful moments, it was Great Leader Heydar Aliyev who taught us to be together. In the February 6 earthquake, Azerbaijan once again demonstrated its brotherhood. We will forever remember Heydar Aliyev."
