Türkiye sends investigation team to Baku over Azerbaijani Airline plane crash

Türkiye, upon the request of the Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Agency, sends an 8-member investigation team to Baku to investigate the crash of a passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines in Aktau, Kazakhstan, the causes of the accident, conduct technical and operational analyses, and ensure the state of the accident, Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, APA's Istanbul correspondent,

Mr. Uraloğlu noted that the delegation will leave for Baku this evening and will work in coordination with the Azerbaijani authorities to investigate all aspects of the incident starting tomorrow in accordance with their areas of expertise.

"As Türkiye, we declare that we stand by Azerbaijan in all circumstances, we wish God's mercy to those who lost their lives and recovery to our Azerbaijani brothers," Uraloğlu noted.
