"Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday that Turkiye is capable of eliminating the consequences of this earthquake with all its institutions and capabilities," Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci told APA.
"We experienced two big earthquakes. More than 10 million people were affected by it. We faced an extremely large natural disaster and had losses. But Turkiye is a strong country. We will bind up these wounds as soon as possible," the ambassador added.
The ambassador noted that the Azerbaijani people were mobilized after the earthquake:
"Everyone does his best. There is a person who sends his jacket, mattress, and blanket, while others send money. We are very grateful for this support," the ambassador said.
