Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations are of vital importance in light of the shifting global order, Ambassador says

Each of us is working to develop mutual relations. In this regard, what we expect from the media is to be extremely careful when spreading news about both countries, said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün, at a roundtable discussion on the topic "5 Years of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation in the Media Space: Review of Joint Activities, Future Goals," APA reports.

According to him, Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations, which serve as an example of relations on a global level, will continue to develop, and as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, "No factor can undermine this brotherhood."

The diplomat also pointed out that Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations are extremely important in the context of the changing global order: "Today, almost no one trusts anyone. In such a context, Turkish-Azerbaijani unity is of great importance. As Mr. President Ilham Aliyev said, the Turkic world is a large family. Our greatest political gain is the further expansion of unity and solidarity between our countries."
