Turkish Presidential Administration warns about disinformation targeting Azerbaijan

In recent days, in connection with the events taking place in our region, excessive criticism, disinformation, and provocative posts targeting Türkiye–Azerbaijan relations and Azerbaijan, particularly on social media and some other platforms, have been circulating, APA reports.

This was stated in a statement by the Disinformation Combat Center of the Communications Directorate of the Presidency of Türkiye.

“Türkiye and Azerbaijan, which are closely bound to each other by unshakable historical ties and shared values, have successfully overcome many challenges they have faced not only today but also in the past. Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, bilateral relations are carried out at all levels under the motto ‘One Nation, Two States.’

It is considered important for the public to be more sensitive to excessive remarks, disinformation, and black propaganda activities that could harm this brotherhood, and also to take into account the statements of the official institutions of Türkiye and Azerbaijan on critical issues,” the statement said.
