"We have encouraged the parties to establish peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia from the beginning to the present," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his speech at the high-level discussions held within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, APA's correspondent sent to New York reports.
The Turkish President said that they are satisfied with the steps taken between Azerbaijan and Armenia on August 8 this year: "I congratulate once again the Honorable President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, as well as US President Donald Trump, who contributed to this process. The normalization process between Türkiye and Armenia is also continuing its course."
