“I sincerely express my confidence that, thanks to the visionary leadership of my brother, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the ancient city of Khankendi will transform into a new center of development and peace in the Caucasus region,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his speech at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Khankendi, APA's correspondent dispatched to Khankendi reports.
The Turkish leader expressed his satisfaction with the Summit being held in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
President Erdoğan stated, “The organization of this summit in the liberated city of Khankendi lends special significance and meaning to the event.”
