Turkish Parliamentary Committee Chairman: Garabagh victory was example for world

Today, global power balances have changed, conflicts have increased, and we have reached an era where the impact of new technologies is being felt very rapidly, said Hulusi Akar, Chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, at the second meeting of the defense and security committees of the parliaments of TURKPA member countries, APA reports.

He noted that the threats we face are not limited to military threats alone: “There is now global climate change and other threats as well. Cooperation among Turkic states is of great importance. Türkiye bases its approach to solving global issues on international law. The impact of global events on our region must be taken into account. National security can only be ensured with a strong army. This was demonstrated to the world by Azerbaijan's victory in the Garabagh war. The Garabagh victory is not only an example for Azerbaijan and Türkiye, but for the entire Turkic world and the world as a whole.”
