"Azerbaijan is a model of peace, brotherhood, and multi-cultural coexistence in the South Caucasus today,"said Shamil Ayrim, the head of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, in his statement to journalists, APA's correspondent dispatched to Antalya reports.
He mentioned that Azerbaijan has been hosting international conferences supporting multi-cultural coexistence for the past 8-10 years: "President Ilham Aliyev, in his speech at ADA University, touched on serious points regarding the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The Karabakh war has been a new beginning for the Organization of Turkic States to choose its direction. Azerbaijan is not the Azerbaijan of 30 years ago in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan is a country that has one of the selected leaders in the world."
