Israel is attacking our neighbor Iran and driving the region into complete disaster, said Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, APA reports.
“We will continue to stand against oppression. Israel’s occupation policy clearly reveals the problem in the region. This problem is not Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, or Iran — it is undoubtedly Israel’s problem. We strongly condemn Israel’s attack on Iran while nuclear talks are ongoing,” Hakan Fidan said.
The Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized that the international community must prevent the Israel-Iran war from turning into a wider conflict: “These attacks, which could lead to disastrous consequences for our region, must be stopped immediately.”
Hakan Fidan also noted that Israel’s goal is to exile the Palestinians and prevent the two-state solution.
