"In every settlement and village of Azerbaijan, brotherly country of us the flags of Azerbaijan and Türkiye fly side by side at the grave of a martyr, at the same time at the monument erected to the dear memory of a martyr in one of the neighborhoods," Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci shared on social media, APA reports.
"We pay tribute to our martyrs who fought shoulder to shoulder for the motherland in 1915 in Chanakkale and in 1918 in Baku and were buried side by side so that the brotherhood of our martyrs may live forever," he said.
