Turkish AK Party delegation visits Nakhchivan -UPDATED-PHOTO

On September 12, a delegation led by Kurshad Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of Türkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and Head of the Main Directorate for Relations with Turkic States, visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA’s local bureau reports.

During the visit, the delegation paid tribute to the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev located in the main square of Nakhchivan city.

Kurshad Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of Türkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and Head of the Main Directorate for Relations with Turkic States, is going to Nakhchivan, APA reports.

“Today, our first stop on the Nakhchivan-Ighdır route will be Nakhchivan, which we call the ‘Turkish Gate’ — one of the strategic centers of the Turkic World,” he said on his X account.

“In the future, the environment of peace and prosperity that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood will create in the region will rise from the Nakhchivan line,” he said.

He is scheduled to arrive in Nakhchivan at 15:40 local time. A number of meetings will be held afterward. Kurshad Zorlu will visit Iğdır the following day.
