Tokayev: Yasawi heritage will strengthen brotherly ties

“We believe that the Yasawi heritage, which is the main pillar of Turkic spirituality, will strengthen the brotherly ties,” President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the informal Summit meeting of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.

“Thus, the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Order was solemnly presented to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the high-level meeting yesterday. We believe that by further elevating the Yasawi heritage, which is the main pillar of Turkic spirituality, it will strengthen the unbreakable brotherly ties among our peoples,” the head of state noted.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed special gratitude today for the opening of the new “Craftsmen’s Alley” in Turkistan with the support of Uzbekistan: “I express my sincere gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Uzbek people for this beautiful gift.”
