Relations between the parliaments of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye are very intensive, and a trilateral meeting of the foreign relations committees of the three countries’ parliaments will soon be held in Tbilisi, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said in a statement to journalists in Istanbul, APA’s local bureau reports.
He noted that the traditional trilateral format allows issues to be discussed at the parliamentary level.
Papuashvili also stated that the governments of Türkiye, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia are pursuing wise policies such as maintaining peace in the region.
The Speaker emphasized that the importance of the Middle Corridor is increasing further today, noting that thanks to the governments, there is no chaos or crises observed along the route.
