The evacuation process from Iran through the Azerbaijan border is continuing, APA’s southern bureau reports.
According to the information, the Swiss Ambassador to Iran, along with a six-member delegation, was evacuated through the Azerbaijan border a short while ago.
Swiss Ambassador to Iran Olivier Bangerter said they would like to continue their activities in Baku.
“Azerbaijan is a very beautiful and peaceful country. I am glad to be here. I thank you for the conditions created for us. From here we will go to Baku. I would very much like to continue our activities in Baku, but the state itself will make that decision,” he said.
