It is important to establish a strategic cooperation network in the field of artificial intelligence within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.
“Through this mechanism, we can identify new points of economic growth. There are great opportunities for the development of cloud and quantum computing technologies and for the creation of an open and unified digital space. In recent years, Uzbekistan has attracted $6 billion in investment together with foreign partners for the establishment of data centers. We propose the creation of a digital Turkic corridor connecting these data centers through high-speed communication lines. In order to strengthen cooperation in this field, we also propose holding a technology forum with the participation of the organization’s member states,” he said.
The Uzbek leader noted that the city of Khiva was declared the Youth Capital of the Turkic World this year: “This decision will provide great motivation especially for our youth. Within this framework, we are ready to hold the Young Leaders Forum and the International Youth Festival. It should be noted that we are implementing the ‘One Million AI Leaders’ program with the aim of training competitive personnel in a rapidly changing world.”
