Speaker Sahiba Gafarova departs for Russia to attend CIS IPA meetings

A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has left for the Russian Federation on a working visit to participate in the meeting of the Council and the 60th plenary session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA), the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

At Pulkovo 3 Airport in St. Petersburg, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and Head of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department Nizami Mamishev, Secretary General of the CIS IPA Council Dmitry Kobitsky, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev, the Milli Majlis’ authorized representative to the CIS IPA Aydin Jafarov, Acting Consul General of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg Anar Yusifzade, and other officials.
