Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mazen Torki Saud Al-Qadi, arrived in Azerbaijan on Saturday for an official visit.
According to the Press and Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, the Jordanian parliamentary delegation was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Musa Gasimli, the ambassadors of the two countries, Shahin Abdullayev and Omar Barakat Al-Nahar, as well as other officials.
During the visit, Al-Qadi will participate in the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), which will be held in Baku.
The Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives is also scheduled to hold a number of meetings with Azerbaijani officials.
The visit is set to conclude on June 26.
