“The trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye once again highlights the importance of regional cooperation,” Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said at a briefing, APA's local bureau reports.
He noted the importance of cooperation formats between the three countries at both the executive and legislative levels.
“These cooperation formats contribute to the convergence of the countries’ policies and to reaching a common understanding regarding the challenges facing the region. This also applies to economic cooperation between our countries for the advancement of the interests of our states,” Papuashvili added.
It should be noted that a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia will be held in Istanbul today.
