An official reception on the occasion of Independence Day was organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, the embassy told APA.
At the event, Azerbaijan's ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Ramin Hasanov, informed the guests about the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and the restoration of the traditions of statehood, which have a great history.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea Cho Ku-rae conveyed the congratulations of the government.
Cho Ku-rae said that there is a high-level dialogue between Azerbaijan and Korea in the political field and that cultural relations are developing successfully, and pointed out that both nations are united by similar values.
