"We are ready to take all steps to expand our relations with Azerbaijan," Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ahmed Moallim Fiqi said during a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held in Baku, APA reports.
Expressing gratitude to Azerbaijan for the invitation, the guest said that this visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries: "I am confident that these relations will contribute to the deepening of our cooperation. Over the years, our relations have developed positively. Today, in our discussions, we talked about increasing trade turnover and cooperation opportunities in the oil-gas industry and agriculture. We are ready to take all steps to expand our relations."
The Minister congratulated Azerbaijan on its COP29 Presidency: "Our government is ready to work with Azerbaijan for this conference and achieving its goals.
During our dialogue, we discussed our diplomatic relations and cooperation on international platforms. We must continually unite our efforts.
I congratulate Azerbaijan once again on all its achievements."
