The international order is moving towards multipolarity, said Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institute for International Studies, at the 13th session of the CICA Think Tank Forum, APA reports.
“In my opinion, the greatest opportunity for the CICA lies in the ongoing transformation of the international order. This order is increasingly developing from a Western-centric framework towards a truly multipolar one. Asian countries, as the main participants and shapers of this transformation, are accelerating internal modernization and, together with the Global South, are advancing the largest modernization process in human history. This transformation will reshape the global distribution of power both materially and morally,” Chen Dongxiao noted.
