The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia has condemned Iran’s drone attacks on Nakhchivan, APA reports.
“The Serbian MFA considers the incident that occurred in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which endangered the security of the territory and the population, unacceptable. The Republic of Serbia fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, we emphasize that attempts to involve friendly countries in wider regional conflicts or to destabilize border regions, including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, are unacceptable. Serbia remains firmly committed to the principles of preserving peace, respect for international law and the UN Charter, as well as strengthening friendly and partnership relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the MFA said in a statement.
