Iran’s strikes on neighboring countries are contrary to international law and the principles of good neighborliness, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Issam bin Saleh Aljutaili told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, a relevant resolution has been adopted by the UN Security Council on the matter, condemning such actions.
The diplomat noted that Saudi Arabia is currently coordinating with other partner countries on this issue.
The ambassador also recalled that the current situation in the region will be discussed at an emergency meeting to be held in Riyadh today, where views will be exchanged on ways to ease tensions.
