The unity and shared innovation potential of the Turkic states will open up new economic opportunities and strengthen the region as a powerful center on the global technology map, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said at the informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.
The President of Kyrgyzstan emphasized in this regard the importance of strengthening cooperation among Turkic states in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence. Stressing the strategic importance of the region located at the center of Eurasia, Sadyr Japarov noted the importance of coordinated action for unlocking transport and logistics opportunities: “The integration of transport corridors with digital platforms will enable Turkic states to occupy an important position in the global freight transportation system."
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov provided information about the joint initiative of Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye regarding the establishment of a special council of the Organization of Turkic States for combating crime. Within this framework, the creation of a digital system for international search and information exchange is envisaged. The President of Kyrgyzstan also emphasized the importance of the draft agreement on the mutual recognition of electronic signatures, describing it as an important step toward the creation of a unified digital space among Turkic states.
