"Position of international organizations related to the West on parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan is biased," it has been noted in the statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
"On September 1, snap parliamentary elections were held in the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to Central Election Commission, ruling New Azerbaijan Party led by President Ilham Aliyev, has won," noted in the statement.
Ministry has also added that the Russian side has congratulated Azerbaijani friends on the occasion of successful organization of expression of will of nation.
