"Baku confirms its readiness to responsibly carry out tripartite agreements in negotiations with Yerevan," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists within the framework of the 3rd Antalya Diplomatic Forum, APA reports.

The Russian minister also touched on the recent statements made by the Armenian leadership and said that those statements make the Russian side think about how they should approach them in their practical steps.

Lavrov also noted that there is no discussion between Yerevan and the Kremlin about the possibility of the presence of Russian border guards from Zvartnots airport in the Armenian capital.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also touched upon the process of Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization and underlined that progress in relations between Baku and Yerevan will depend on the responsible implementation of tripartite agreements, and official Baku confirms this readiness in the negotiations.

It should be recalled that during his visit to France, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated in an interview with the local France 24 TV channel that Armenia has frozen its presence in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), followed by the speaker of the parliament, Alen Simonyan, who stated that "Russian border guards should stop their service at Zvartnots airport."

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, stressed that such statements by Armenian officials do not serve the interests of the Armenian people.
