"I am certain Azerbaijan will find and punish military criminals, who perpetrated the Khojaly Genocide. Khojaly Genocide is a violent crime, committed by Armenian militaries. Wounds of Khojaly have not formed a scab," said Igor Korotchenko, the Editor-in-Chief of Russia's 'National Defense' journal and a renowned military expert at the commemoration ceremony dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide in Azerbaijani Embassy to Russia, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.

According to him, this genocide is remembered today not only in Azerbaijan but also in other countries of the world: "Today, friends of Azerbaijan, just people of goodwill, those who do not take a biased position, share the grief of the Azerbaijani people and Azerbaijan's demand for justice in relation to bringing Armenian war criminals to justice."

Korotchenko said that justice has triumphed in Azerbaijan: "At the same time, we are pleased to note that justice has triumphed in the restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan thanks to the end of the second Garabagh war, as well as the anti-terrorist measures implemented in 2023. Today, Azerbaijan is completely free from any invaders. The country is effectively developing rapidly, war wounds are healing, and preparations are being made for the return of refugees and internally displaced persons to their native lands. A large-scale program was also adopted in this regard. Modern Azerbaijan will undoubtedly find and punish the war criminals who committed the Khojaly genocide. We are sure of that," concluded the Russian expert.
