Russia is interested in conducting an objective and impartial investigation into the crash of an Azerbaijani plane in Aktau, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Russia is waiting for the results of the work of the relevant commission.
The Kremlin spokesman added that Russian experts are assisting in the investigation: "President Putin and President Aliyev spoke on the phone twice. The investigative bodies have been given the necessary instructions, and all necessary assistance and cooperation are being provided in investigating the causes of this accident. President Putin apologized and expressed his regret."
