“Russian side investigates the information submitted by Azerbaijan regarding Armenia's mine transportation through the Lachin road,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the press conference on the results of 2022, while responding to the journalist’s question on the situation on Lachin road, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to Lavrov, the tripartite statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, separately stated that military cargo should not be transported on this route.
He stressed that the Russian military is investigating the information provided by the Azerbaijani side about the fact that Armenia carried mines through this corridor, violated the tripartite agreements, and mined the territories near the Azerbaijani positions.
Drawing attention to the many mutual accusations, Lavrov brought to attention that Russia comes up with a simple suggestion.
