Russia consistently supports a swift reconciliation between Armenia and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a briefing today, commenting on the outcomes of talks in Yerevan between special envoys Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kılıç, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
She noted that this is one of the key messages for establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus: “We are ready to support these efforts, including within the framework of the ‘3+3’ platform. We hope that local realities and the interests of our neighbors in the South Caucasus will be taken into account as agreements between Ankara and Yerevan are prepared.”
