On April 14, a Romanian parliamentary delegation, led by Interim President of the Senate of the Parliament of Romania Mircea Abrudean, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, paid respects to the memory of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honors, placing a wreath at his grave, APA reports, citing the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
The delegation also visited Victory Park in Baku, where they laid a wreath at the memorial. The delegation received detailed information about the park, which was created to preserve the memory of Azerbaijan’s monumental victory in the Patriotic War and to honor the memory of martyrs.
During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by Azay Guliyev, a member of the Milli Majlis and head of the Azerbaijan-Romania inter-parliamentary working group, along with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Romania, Gudsi Osmanov, Romania’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Vasile Soare, and other official representatives.
