Khalaf Khalafov, Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments has visited Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, APA reports.
During his visit, Khalafov held meetings with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu and Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for external affairs Yerzhan Kazykhan.
The sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest.
As part of the visit, Khalafov also met with CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay and Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Bakaev to discuss the implementation of CICA’s chairmanship agenda.
