The use of the common Turkic alphabet across a wide range of fields — from education to culture, from academic cooperation to digital transformation — is of great importance, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said at the informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.
“Just as security at sea and in the air is vital and essential, cybersecurity is equally important. During our upcoming term presidency, we aim to further advance coordination and cooperation in the field of cybersecurity within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. The achievements we have made in the cultural sphere to date are becoming one of the most important pillars of Turkic integration. The declaration of December 15 as World Turkic Language Day at the 43rd General Conference of UNESCO held in Samarkand last year is a shared success for all of us. The use of the common Turkic alphabet across a wide range of fields — from education to culture, from academic cooperation to digital transformation — is of great importance. I believe it is important to support the Turkish language model and similar artificial intelligence-based developments that will make the richness of our common language visible in the digital world. Through the civil society and support systems of the Turkic world, we can strengthen our digital cooperation in this field,” he stressed.
