Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: Azerbaijani President attaches great importance to Zangezur corridor

The Zangezur corridor will benefit not only Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Türkiye, but also other countries in the region, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, APA reports.

"We consider this line (Zangezur corridor) to be extremely important due to its geoeconomic importance. It will connect countries outside our region and stimulate trade. We hope that this line will become a symbol of consensus rather than a source of disagreement. Thus, this region will become a prosperous area where cooperation prevails. We, as regional countries, can resolve this issue through consensus," Erdoğan mentioned.

The Turkish leader noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to the Zangezur corridor: "He wants this corridor to be prepared as soon as possible and to use it for the benefit of both Azerbaijan and the region. I am sure that we will resolve this issue together."
