At a press conference summarizing his visit to Tajikistan, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the situation in Russia-Azerbaijan relations as a “crisis of emotions,” APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
“I would not say that we experienced a crisis in state-to-state relations. I would say it was a crisis of emotions,” he added.
The Russian leader also noted that the investigation into the AZAL plane crash is nearing completion, with only details and nuances remaining.
“We agreed with Aliyev that the investigation into the AZAL crash would be objective. The investigation is now complete, and overall everything is clear. I hope we have turned the page,” he emphasized.
