Amin Mammadov, the Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, has responded to the comments of Vladimir Karasev, the Chairman of the Coordination Council under the Civic Chamber of Russia and a political scientist, regarding the President of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He drew attention to the fact that the mentioned individual made biased remarks following the Azerbaijani President's announcement of Russia’s involvement in the downing of an AZAL passenger plane in the skies over Grozny.
“If the Civic Chamber of Russia considers this form of speech to be within ethical norms, it also clarifies the level of this council. Unfortunately, in modern Russia, it has become a custom for people with high social status in society to prefer rude and offensive rhetoric. If Vladimir Karasev has managed to insult the leader of a foreign state without facing consequences, it can be assumed that the day when he will use this style against the leadership of Russia is not far away. In the past, Russia’s public figures were examples of high culture and moral principles, but unfortunately, these values have disappeared today. It is figures like Karasev, who are far from culture, who make statements about AZAL’s plane,” Amin Məmmədov stated.
