Prime Minister Ali Asadov met today with a delegation of the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
During the meeting, the high level of the long-term and mutually beneficial partnership established between Azerbaijan and the ADB was noted with satisfaction.
The importance of jointly implemented projects in transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, healthcare and other areas was emphasized, and it was noted that there are good opportunities for expanding cooperation within the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism.
The Country Partnership Strategy for 2025–2029 was assessed as an important framework for a new stage of Azerbaijan-ADB cooperation, and it was highlighted that the new projects planned in the fields of energy, transport and water infrastructure are in line with the country’s long-term development priorities.
The prospects for further developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank were discussed at the meeting.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev attended the meeting.
