Projects such as the Zangezur Corridor expand the region’s transport capabilities, OTS Secretary General says

Projects such as the Zangezur Corridor are expanding the region’s transport capabilities, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev said at the informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.

“The Middle Corridor project plays an important role in the strategic cooperation of the Turkic states. Projects such as the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway, and the Zangezur Corridor are expanding the region’s transport capabilities.

These projects create new opportunities in the fields of transport and logistics. We are also jointly working toward simplifying and digitalizing customs procedures. The implementation of electronic transit systems and the integration of logistics platforms serve to accelerate cargo transportation and increase efficiency,” Kubanychbek Omuraliev noted.
