Problems in UN complicates establishment of world peace - Fahrettin Altun

"Problems in the functioning of the UN complicate the establishment of peace in the world", said Fahrettin Altun, the director of Directorate of the Communications of the Turkish Presidency, in a video address to the Stratcom Public Forum held in Baku, APA reports.

He recalled that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has also supported reforms within the UN and has mentioned this multiple times in his speeches:

"As the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency, we support events organized under the 'Stratcom Public Forum' in 20 different countries. The problems in the functioning of the UN complicate the establishment of peace in the world. The approach of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is in favor of supporting reforms within the UN. The events organized by our country support dialogue between representatives of different societies. We believe that today’s event will contribute to the efforts to build a fairer world."
