The war continues in Hungary's neighbor Ukraine, said the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban during press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
Viktor Orban said that the European Union has chosen the path of supporting the war: "The economy of the European Union, its ship, today moves without a compass. Today we pay 3-4 times more money for natural gas. Our success is that we have maintained relations with Russia in the energy field. However, Ukraine imposes restrictions on us. Without Turkic-speaking countries, it would be difficult to ensure our energy security. The value of a reliable partner is measured this way. If there were no Turkic countries, Hungary would pay 3-4 times more for gas. President Ilham Aliyev has assured us that Hungary will continue to be supplied with gas in the future."
