Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are united by strong and enduring lasting relations, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the plenary session of the III UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in the Avaza National Tourism Zone of Turkmenistan, APA reports.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the President, government, and people of Turkmenistan for their warm hospitality and excellent organization in Avaza, stating: “Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are united by strong and lasting brotherly relations. These relations are based on our shared heritage, history, and mutual respect. In this context, the recent visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Malikgulyyevich Berdimuhamedov, to Azerbaijan was a significant event. This visit further strengthened our strategic partnership and created new opportunities for cooperation. Our relations reflect solidarity and a shared vision for peace, cooperation, and prosperity in our region.”
